How do I post a job?›
From your dashboard, click Post a Job. Tell us what you need, the budget range, and your county. Local pros that match your trade and service area will see the job and can express interest.
What does it mean when a Pro is 'Interested'?›
When a Pro expresses interest in your job, they reserve a slot. You can view their profile and decide whether to open a conversation with them. Until you Connect, your name, address, and contact details stay hidden from them.
What happens when I 'Connect' with a Pro?›
Connecting unlocks the conversation with that one Pro — they can see your first name and message you directly. Other interested Pros remain locked unless you connect with them too. You can connect with up to 4 Pros per job (configurable by the platform).
Why can't I share my phone number or address in chat?›
We block contact details in chat so the conversation stays on the platform. This protects both sides and keeps a record in case of a dispute. Once you've hired a Pro you can share whatever you need outside the platform.
How do I hire a Pro?›
On the job page, click Hire next to the Pro you want. They get notified and the job is marked Awarded. Every other interested Pro is automatically released.
What if a Pro 'Withdraws'?›
A Pro can withdraw from a job before they're hired — that frees their slot for another Pro to take. They may also re-engage later if a slot is still open.
Can I cancel a job?›
Yes — open the job and use Cancel Job. Any active engagements become Lost. You don't owe anything for cancelling.
How do reviews work?›
After you mark a job complete, you can leave a review. Reviews are public and tied to the Pro's profile.
Does West Michigan Home Pros verify Pros?›
No. License, insurance, and bonding are self-reported by each Pro. We don't verify, confirm, or endorse those claims. You're responsible for independently verifying anything that matters to you. For Michigan license lookup, visit Michigan LARA.
